If you have a health problem I recommend you consult your GP, and where you are already receiving treatment for a condition, I recommend you discuss any nutritional advice offered with your GP before following it. Nutritional Therapists are not permitted to diagnose, or claim to treat, medical conditions and Nutritional advice is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment. Standards of professional practice in Nutritional Therapy are governed by the CNHC Code of Conduct. Existing treatment recommended by a qualified Medical Practitioner should never be discontinued without prior discussion with that professional and I will never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice. I will always refer any client with red flag signs or symptoms to their medical professional.

Examples of such conditions include, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, hepatic or stomach ulcers, gallstones, kidney stones, and bowel disorders. The list is not exhaustive.
